Two pharmaceutical companies are sanctioned with more than one million pesos Lomelí. The sanctions were published in the Official Gazette of the Federation (DOF), in which it was announced that Lomedic was sanctioned with more than one million pesos and disabled for two years and six months for delivering false information in various contracting procedures. with IMSS and ISSSTE. Abastecedora de Insumos para la Salud was sanctioned because it also provided false information to the Institute of Health Services of the state of Aguascalientes during the public bidding process to buy medicines and healing materials. For this, she received a fine of one million 51 thousand 500 pesos and was disabled for two years and six months.
According to the SFP, both companies were notified last week of the sanctions imposed. In both cases, the disqualification imposed to enter into public works contracts must be complied with by the entities, municipalities and mayors of Mexico City, when “the acquisitions, leases and services of the public sector are made with total or partial charge to federal funds ” These sanctions are in addition to those imposed by the SFP in September 2019 on Carlos Lomelí companies.
That year, the secretariat headed by Irma Eréndira Sandoval banned Laboratorios Solfran SA, owned by the former superdelegate and subsidiary of Grupo Lomedic, for two years and six months, also for presenting false information in a public tender. Months later, the company tried to challenge the disqualification in the Court of Guadalajara, Jalisco, and Durango, although its request was denied. Lomelí Bolaños has been singled out for leading a network of pharmaceutical companies that enter into consolidated drug purchase contracts without complying with the best conditions to achieve the awards.
In the present administration, Lomelí was designated as the Jalisco superdelegate to assume the functions that the representatives of the federal secretariats of State previously had in the entities of the Mexican Republic. Therefore, it had the possibility of influencing matters related to the operation of the federal health system in Jalisco. In July 2019, after the accusations against him, Lomelí Bolaños resigned from the position conferred on him by the current administration of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
